What is this blog about?

I was asked by a very wise person "What is your purpose in blogging?"

Well to that person, I'd like to say "I want to write to all the husbands/significant others of published and almost published authors. I'm brand new at this, so please bear with me. There have only been 2 times in my live when I've written in one form or another. One was when I was a missionary for my church. That was like ten years ago. For some reason my delete or backspace button is not working like it should. Anyways, the other time was while I was deployed for the United States Air Force.  One time I was in West Virginia, the next in Afghanistan. The first I was writing with a pen and paper. The next time I was pounding away on a non-mac product.

Hopefully some of your spouses will get the link from my site and pass it on to you non-writers. If that becomes the case I hope you will share with me what experience y'all've had with writing.

Hi all again.

I know it's been some time since I posted, so I thought. And I thought some more. And I came up w/ the fact that "hey my wife has a blast w/ the whole blogging thing, maybe I could too." So I'm back hopefully. I know hardly anyone follows me, hopefully that'll change. This'll pretty much be the blog that is about a back woodsy country bumpkin, a war hero, a dad, a spouse creature of a great writer who tells me flattery will get me everywhere. So raise your cups of root beer, wine, or whatever your preference, and let's toast to the newest blogger. Whoaa!

Anyone who has ideas for new blogs, it'd be much appreciated. Just remember my blogging may be slow, I'm still in the military and trying hard to raise 4 beautiful chickle pickles'.

I miss writing

11 April 2009

Well, it turns out I must miss writing. Why else would I start blogging? You've got me. I'm not sure when I got home from the lovely desert, but I'm glad to be back. It's got to be close to a month. Potty training is an great way to save money, it just takes so much dang money. The military health care community tells me my posture is causing me un-due suffering. Why it suddenly decides to creep up on me after 30 years of poor posture beats me. But the Military has got to have some intelligence, and it would only make sense for it to be in the medical field. Wait, I forgot that I said good bye to common sense 3 years ago. 38 weeks left to go, hopefully, Yipee!.

Now if I can only find people to follow my blog?
